Common Developmental Characteristics Between Mesopotamia And Egypt

Mesopotamia and Egypt shared some common features that encouraged their initial growth and continued development overtime, which also served to contribute to their unique characters. In determining the similarities that demonstrated how the inhabitants utilized their environment, there are myriad considerations one can assess; after all, developing any congregation of peoples requires the germinating of many cultural seeds. Much exists within the framework of creation so as to afford the inhabitant an opportunity to move forward with an ongoing sense of prosperity and ingenuity. Hyksos / Semitic Origins

A 5 page research paper exploring the origins of the Hyksos who seized and ruled Egypt during the 15th and 16th Dynasties. Although their origins were thought to date back to Old Testament Hebrew by very early scholars (First Century AD), it is only in the last thirty years archeological finds have indicated the Hyksos had a strong affiliation with the Canaanites. This paper offers evidence of their origins.
